From a real problem
to a working solution.
A clear process from the first assessment to handover and support. Know what happens, who approves it and what comes next.
Follow the process
Five stages.
Clear decisions.
Each stage has a practical output. Scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria are agreed before implementation moves forward.
- 1
Discover & assess
Understand the problem, people, systems and baseline.
WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARDa prioritised opportunity list and a clear starting point.
- 2
Design
Map data, responsibilities, integrations and controls.
WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARDan agreed scope, acceptance criteria and implementation plan.
- 3
Implement & test
Configure, connect and test in a controlled sequence.
WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARDtested workflows, exception handling and sign-off checkpoints.
- 4
Measure outcomes
Compare results with the agreed baseline.
WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARDa practical review of time, errors, reliability and adoption.
- 5
Train & support
Help people use the solution and keep it working.
WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARDdocumentation, training and an agreed support arrangement.
A good handover
is part of the solution.
Documentation, training, access ownership, recovery and support arrangements belong in the project scope. The people using the system should understand how to operate it and where to get help.
Talk through your projectA LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Clear from the start.
What happens in an initial assessment?
We map the current task, systems, people and constraints. The result should identify the problem worth solving and the information needed to scope it responsibly.
How are changes to scope handled?
A change should be described, its implications reviewed and approval recorded before it is implemented. Costs and timelines are agreed in the project proposal.
When does a project count as complete?
Against the agreed acceptance criteria, testing and handover requirements. Support after handover is a separately agreed part of the engagement.
One challenge.
A better-connected solution.
